About Department

The Department of Pharmaceutics at Godavari Institute of Pharmacy is committed to providing excellent Academic and Pharmaceutical industry-oriented professional training, and promoting Drug Development research. Pharmaceutics revolves around formulating new products, and provides a professional research environment since it focuses on the development of novel formulations. A graduate shall be able to Formulate, Store, Dispense and Analyse the prescription and/or manufacture the pharmaceuticals and cosmetics at the commercial level. It also helps the student to acquire knowledge and skill to apply quality assurance principle including legal and ethical aspects involving drugs, thus delivering a quality assured product as per the Pharmacopoeia, WHO and ISO standards.

• The Department has spacious working place. Each laboratory of department is well equipped instruments and facilitated with Chemicals, Glassware's, Equipment’s and Lab-wares
• Instrumental in continuous up gradation of knowledge by providing regular training to students and faculty on advanced instruments and statistical tools.
• Practical's and/or assignments are carried out according to the academic schedule and enough time is available with student to peruse the knowledge.
• Highly qualified and experienced faculty.
• Use of innovative teaching methods and ICT tools in teaching.
